I’ve always loved getting an Easter basket on Easter Sunday. My family has always had pretty cool Easter baskets, and there’s always something other than candy to look forward to. I wasn’t really expecting an Easter basket this year since I’m all grown up and in grad school, but look what was waiting when I got home for Easter weekend with my parents! Aren’t family traditions fantastic?

Side note: how is it possible that Easter was already over two weeks ago?! This semester flew by like crazy.
Back to the Easter basket surprise- in addition to some fantastic Reese’s peanut butter eggs and Ghirardelli chocolate, my basket held some gorgeous golden bangles and a Fresh sugar lip treatment (this particular shade is rosé). I’ve become a huge fan of Fresh lip products lately (especially this sugar cream gloss). My lips have been feeling pretty darn amazing!
I wore this simple white dress for Easter, and it’s honestly so old that I don’t remember where I got it. (Seriously, I think it may be from 2011). What can I say? When I have something I like, I keep it forever.
This adorable little floral zipper pouch is a Rochelle Porter design, and I think it is absolutely perfect for spring/summer! She’s a local Atlanta designer, and I fell in love with this print during a pop-up shop at Ponce City Market a few weeks back. She has a ton of other beautifully-designed, vibrant textiles, which you can find here!
Spring semester is finally over for me, so hopefully things will begin to run a little more smoothly over here at Raine In The City. Good luck to everyone who still has finals to finish up! Summer break is in sight!
xoxo,
Raine

So fun! I always remember each semester of college going faster than I thought it would, too. Time flies!
That’s something I won’t be old enough to stop doing it. Chocolate is the best!
