I recently had a mini spa day to de-stress from all of my end of the semester worries, inspired by my Ivy VoxBox from Influenster. If you haven’t heard of Influenster, they send you complimentary products to try out and review based on your interests, social media demographics, etc. The Ivy VoxBox is the first I have received, so I don’t know yet how common it is to be chosen for one. I really liked this one, though, so I’m looking forward to more in the future!
Quick Overview:
The Ivy VoxBox contains Nubian Heritage African Black Face Soap, a Gillette Venus Swirl Razor, Trolli Brite Sour Crawlers, Chapstick Duos, and a 7th Heaven Foot Soak/Lotion.
I’ve been using the Nubian Heritage face soap for about a week, and I’m really liking it so far. It’s been really gentle on my skin, which is usually pretty sensitive! I think the idea behind the Chapstick Duo is really cute, and I like that they included different “flavors.” I’m still preferential to lip glosses, but this Chapstick will be nice to have around during the summer! The poor Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers didn’t last long enough for me to get many photos… we devoured them immediately!
For my mini-spa night, I tried out the new Venus Swirl razor. (I’ve been making do with an old disposable razor for wayyyy too long, ever since I lost my other Venus razor during a move)! I couldn’t tell that the ‘swirl’ feature made a huge difference in shaving, but I love the razor overall. I’ve always had good experiences with Venus razors!
Once my legs were nice and silky-smooth, I decided to try out the foot lotion and soak from 7th Heaven. I’ve used their face masks before, and I think that their products work really well for at-home spa days! After so much dry winter weather, my feet really needed the TLC.
The main event for my mini-spa day was this dogwood manicure/pedicure! Since it was right before the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, I decided that dogwoods would make the perfect nail design. You can see the full DIY for that here!

Now this is a box I would like! I need to try out that foot lotion. I love the nail art you did! When I first saw that picture on Instagram I wondered if it was a stick-on pattern because it was done so nicely!
