If you’ve ever been to Atlanta’s Piedmont Park, hopefully you’ve had a chance to check out the cute and colorful Noguchi Playscape. These fun and unusual sculptures make an excellent playground, as well as a really cute photo backdrop.
It’s so cute, in fact, that I was determined to take photos there by myself on Friday afternoon, since the weather was beautiful. My main method of taking blog photos right now requires finding something around chest-height to set my mini-tripod on, setting a timer, and running to pose, so this was a little bit of a challenge… but I think I ended up with some good ones (though they’re a little fuzzier than I would’ve liked).
I really had fun playing around with the bright colors. This fuzzy pink sweater of mine was actually an incredible Black Friday steal (I got it from Goody’s for less than $3)! And, as you can tell from this older post, I really love the combo of blue and pink.
If you live in Atlanta (or are visiting soon), I highly recommend you give Noguchi Playscape a visit. Really, you should explore all of Piedmont Park! And if you’re there on the weekend, make sure to find the Blue Donkey Coffee stand. Best iced coffee ever!
The Snuggle Is Real.
