White and Gold Gameday Vibes

Happy Rivalry Week, y’all! What college football game will you be watching this week? As an alumna of Georgia Tech, my family and I will be tuning in on Saturday for the Georgia Tech vs. UGA game (that’s become one of our favorite Thanksgiving week traditions in the last few years). Whether we’re watching the Jackets at Bobby Dodd or on our living room TV, we like to get in the Tech spirit! White and gold are a fantastic color combo, so I’m going to share some styling ideas for game day, all based around this super cute white shift dress from Old Navy (similar here).

For the first look, I went with a white and gold knit infinity scarf. I’ve had it for a while, and I really love that it has little sequins scattered throughout. I’ve also got a brown leather Liz Clairborne purse, leather booties, and a brown jacket. (And nude tights, because it’s super chilly and my legs were freezing 😛 ).

The next look is more comfy-casual. I’m a big fan of the tunic-with-pants vibe, so this look pairs the white dress with black denim jeans and my slouchy black boots. I switched to a faux-leather black jacket, and I added a Georgia Tech bow (converted from a bow tie) for extra Yellow Jacket team spirit!

The third variation on the white and gold theme only calls for a change of accessories! This cute white, gold, and black knit scarf and earwarmer combo is a great way to add in some team colors. I just purchased these a few weekends back at the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf’s Fall Festival. I love buying handmade goods!
