Ponce City Market is one of my favorite places to go and hang out. It’s cute, artsy, has delicious food, and it’s right down the street from my apartment. Did I mention the food?! It’s also a fantastic place to just go and people-watch.
Now, I have to admit that I’m the kind of person who discovers a restaurant they like and keeps going back and getting the same thing over and over. Case in point: Botiwalla. It’s owned by the people behind the fantastic Chai Pani, so I expected that it would be good, but it’s almost too good- I can’t go to Ponce City Market without getting their chicken tikka roll (and the SPDP, if I’m feeling extravagant).
Dessert-wise, you can’t go wrong with Honeysuckle Gelato. My favorite there is the fresh mint + dark chocolate shake. It even comes in a glass mason jar! Too cute.
Now that I’ve talked about food, let’s talk clothes! I love love love elephants, and so these elephant-print boho pants are some of my favorites. I actually bought them from a street vendor in New Orleans; it was a definite impulse purchase, and I’m glad that I did!
I think that they go really well with this soft knit top, which adds a bright blue *pop* of color! Plus, I love the lacey detailing along the bottom hem. I finished this look off with some bangles for a little added glam! (I wish I had better photos to show you guys of this look, but I was too busy exploring and forgot to check them for quality before I left… live and learn >_< ).
Have you checked out Ponce City Market yet? What’s your must-eat restaurant there? I’d love to know!
