Fall is here (hooray!), but it’s still been pretty warm here in the South. This fickle Atlanta weather makes it hard to plan outfits, so I’ve been opting for lots of layers until it’s truly time to break out the heavy sweaters and pack away the shorts! That’s where this floral shorts and cardigan combo from Old Navy comes in.
I snagged these super cute shorts when they were on sale a few weeks back, and I’ve been wearing them constantly ever since (bonus: I just checked, and they’re currently less than $10! Go check them out). With them, I’m wearing a super-soft purple tee and a grey cardigan. This cardigan has been one of my wardrobe staples for over a year… when I like something, I really wear it forever! Comfort is king.
Ironically, today is the chilliest it’s been so far this year, so it may be the last time I get to wear this ensemble until spring. At least I got to have some fun with it before it got too cold! I love mixing and matching colors, and I think this one turned out pretty cute as far as summer-to-fall vibes go.
Side note: I really like taking photos in front of brick walls. They just look so cool to me! That being said, I know I need to start getting out and about more with my blog photography (and to improve the quality). Those are my two biggest blog goals for the remainder of 2016! I know how important it is to stick to natural lighting, but beyond that I’m a complete newbie. If anyone has any advice, I’d love to hear it!
